Prime organised August 28-31st, 2007 a strategic meeting to reflect on present achievements and on the changing environment (in particular, the changing approach of the EC social sciences and humanities programme vis à vis networks of excellence).

Prime conveyed members of all its boards (executive committee, scientific committee, characterisation groups, as well as the heads of the training and indicators activities).

Two days were focused on an internal review of activities undertaken (only overall presentations gave rise to formalised presentations, see below).
The third day was focused on options with the participation of EC responsibles (P. Keraudren the PRIME scientific officer, and P. Valette, the head of the programme).
The last day enabled to draw conclusions and propose future directions. Both have been embedded in the 2007 annual report.
